Find Direction in Your Career and Build What’s Next

Helping you clarify direction, reconnect with your strengths, and build meaningful, sustainable work.

Many people reach a point where traditional career paths no longer feel like enough or no longer feel like theirs.

I work with individuals who are exploring what else is possible, whether that means changing careers, building something of their own, or creating more meaning and alignment within their current work. My approach is grounded in both clinical training and lived entrepreneurial experience, with a focus on helping people move from uncertainty into clear, actionable direction.

My Philosophy

I am passionate about helping people find work that feels meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with who they are. Through my clinical practice and my own path as a business owner, I’ve learned that in today’s competitive and fast-changing world, sometimes the most viable path forward is creating your own space rather than waiting for one to appear.

My Path: From Misalignment to Building My Own Work

I did not have an easy start to my career. My early professional experiences were shaped by poor leadership, lack of direction, and environments that didn’t feel supportive or empowering. For a long time, I struggled with finding fulfillment or clarity in the work I was doing.

That began to shift when I met a trainer who told me something that stayed with me: that as a social worker, I could build a meaningful career and live a comfortable, sustainable life. That perspective changed how I saw what was possible. From there, I became intentional about aligning myself with people who were already living the kind of life I wanted to build. I eventually took the leap into private practice and began learning, through direct experience, what it actually takes to create and sustain your own work.

Over time, I developed a deep understanding of the systems behind it all such as how to break down finances, structure time off, build marketing and outreach strategies, and adapt services as both my life and interests evolved. I learned how to frame my work clearly, pivot when needed, and refine what I offer based on experience rather than assumption.

There were also many lessons through trial and error including hiring and realizing it wasn’t the right fit for me at the time, as well as experimenting with different ways of expanding my practice. What I’ve come to value most is independence, autonomy, and being responsible for shaping my own professional path.

My work has always ebbed and flowed in different ways depending on where I am in my life, and I think that flexibility is important.  We don’t always have to do the same thing forever.

That perspective eventually led me to create my second business: a travel company that began as a small local beach club. The idea came from noticing a simple but consistent problem being living in a dense city where getting to the beach required renting a car or navigating complicated transit. I wanted to create a simpler, more accessible solution.

Building that business came with its own challenges: finding insurance partners willing to work with us, defining and refining our services, and learning how to use marketing and social media effectively. We experimented with outreach, pricing, and cost-effective transportation logistics, all while learning in real time what worked and what didn’t. To date, we’ve grown into hosting our largest trips yet, including out-of-state weekend experiences. Each step has been a learning process.

What I’ve come to realize through all of this is that I genuinely love what I do. I enjoy building things from ideas, connecting with people, and solving real-world problems in practical ways. Over time, I’ve found a way to combine my clinical work, entrepreneurial experience, and personal interests into a career that feels both sustainable and meaningful.

How We Work Together

I help people reconnect with their creative side as a way of clarifying what they are naturally drawn to the problems they feel called to solve, the ideas they can’t stop thinking about, and the kinds of work that feel energizing rather than depleting. From there, we explore how those interests can be shaped into meaningful, sustainable career paths that are both fulfilling and financially viable.

In my coaching work, I help clients:

  • Clarify direction when things feel stuck, overwhelming, or unclear

  • Identify emotional, structural, or systemic barriers getting in the way

  • Break larger goals into manageable, sustainable steps

  • Translate interests and strengths into real-world career direction

  • Navigate professional systems, including private practice development

  • Build confidence in decision-making aligned with long-term fulfillment

Alongside my clinical and entrepreneurial work, I’ve also built a lifestyle that reflects the principles I teach. I maintain a steady and sustainable schedule while living in a high cost of living city, with space for both professional growth and personal practices. I also teach yoga in my spare time, which reflects my belief that balance, embodiment, and structure are all part of sustainable work, not separate from it.

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and practical. It’s not about quick fixes or abstract advice. It’s about helping you build something real that fits your life, values, and capacity.
